SAMANTHA~ A 14 year old girl who's dreams are shattered when Glurkmog's attack her home, kill her parents, and run off with her little sister and brother. She is also the bearer of The Locket.
RIKU~ Sam's father's servant. He decides to follow Sam in her long, tiring journey. He also has a secret love for her.
NORA~ The Princess of Nish. She is Sam's age, and she is a spirited, happy-go-lucky gal who never gives in. She is also very gifted with a bow and arrow.
XIA~ A mysterious girl who is always following Sam and giving her odd little riddles. She is always wearing lback and her eyes are always flashing bright icy blue.
STRIDER~ No one knows his real name, but he is tall, and oddly attracted to Sam. He treats her like his own daughter, and he is always by her side.
ZAGLAR~ The evil, bloodthirsty man who has Sam's little brother and sister in his clutches. He beckons Sam to his palace, where he plains to kill her and take the Locket. He never ceases his thirst for power and control over the kingdoms.
